Timing Out and Authentication (Logging In)
Authentication is the process of logging in to one of WebTycho's secure servers using your unique WebTycho user name and password. If you enter incorrect personal information or attempt to access a page for which you are not authorized then you will be unable to log in.
Timing Out WebTycho terminates your connection after 60 minutes of inactivity. To resume work you will be asked to enter your user name and password again. This is done so that if you step away from your computer for any length of time it will be impossible for anyone else to access and possibly tamper with your class work.
Inactivity Activity means a command sent to the WebTycho server, so even though you may have been typing on the keyboard continuously, if you have not submitted or saved, then from the WebTycho server's point of view you have been inactive .
Save Your Work Please remember to save your work by clicking Submit or Save, and then return to edit as often as you wish. See also WebTycho's save features.
Important: Assignments may be Saved, but submitted Assignments are not editable after clicking Submit.
